First State Bank is seeking a Part-Time Teller at its St. Charles, 5th Street location. The Teller will perform all duties required of a bank teller by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank.  Assists the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in promoting and maintaining a professional team atmosphere that enables all team members to grow, succeed and find job satisfaction. Assists customers in a prompt, courteous and professional manner that meets or exceeds the bank’s commitment to service and value. Performs teller functions as needed with the Teller line including but not limited to: maintains and accurately balances cash proper cash supplies in Teller drawer, accepts and completes customer transactions quickly and accurately, efficiently maneuvers all computer systems and equipment used in the Teller areas. Follows all bank policies, procedure and regulations. Adheres to all bank security and safety measures as stipulated in established security policies. They must demonstrate attention to detail, identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, manages difficult or emotional customer situations and responds promptly to customers needs.

Part-Time Marketing Specialist - West Clay

First State Bank is seeking a Part Time Marketing Specialist at the West Clay location. The Marketing Specialist will perform all duties required of a Marketing Specialist by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank. This individual serves as the initial contact for employee requests for new or updated marketing. Works directly with department managers to develop marketing content that meets departmental. Works closely with marketing team and department managers to develop annual strategic marketing. Writes content for marketing pieces to support annual bank objectives including annual stockholders report, advertisements, presentations, customer e-mails and e-newsletters, and more. Regularly monitors, analyzes, creates, and updates content on company website and social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Designs print advertisements, fliers, signage, postcards and manages bank direct mail campaigns from concept phase through printing and distribution. Administers regular marketing material audits at each branch location to ensure consistency and accuracy. Coordinates various events including, but not limited to: product seminars, client events, after-hours community events, training sessions and stockholder. Coordinates community programs, such as the Teach Children to save classroom. Meets with vendors and sales representatives to select marketing services, as needed. Tracks marketing campaign results, and aids in the refinement of the marketing reporting. Assists in logging marketing activities, tracking expenses, and compiling reports to provide pertinent data to bank. Attends weekly meetings to manage the workflow of the marketing team. Identifies opportunities for cross-marketing key products and services to customers. Performs other duties as required.

Approximately 20-30 hours per week.

Minimum of 3 years marketing, public relations or advertising experience required (applicable and significant internship experience may be considered). Previous experience in the banking industry is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree required; coursework in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Graphic design experience/proficiency is preferred; previous work with Adobe Creative Suite applications necessary with strong Adobe Illustrator experience preferred. Experience with digital marketing concepts preferred.
