Part-Time Teller - Lake St. Louis

First State Bank is seeking a Part Time Teller at the Lake St. Louis location. The Part Time Teller will perform all duties required of a Teller by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank. This individual assists the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in promoting and maintaining a professional team atmosphere that enables all team members to grow, succeed and find job satisfaction. Assists customers in a prompt, courteous and professional manner that meets or exceeds the bank’s commitment to service and value. Performs teller functions as needed within the Teller line including but not limited to: maintaining and accurately balances cash and proper cash supplies in Teller drawer, accepts and completes customer transactions quickly and accurately, and efficiently maneuvers all computer systems and equipment used in the Teller areas. Follows all bank policies, procedures and regulations. Keeps up with modifications as needed. Adheres to all bank security and safety measures as stipulated in established security policies. Obtains basic knowledge of various bank services including Invest Financial, First State Bank Mortgage, Commercial and Consumer loans in order to effectively promote and cross-sell all bank products and services. Completes required regulatory training and any additional training that is necessary for the proficiency of the Teller Attends in-house training and completes online learning plans as outlined. Arrives to work on time and takes breaks/lunches as designated. Performs other duties as assigned.

Approximately 20-30 hours per week. Must be available to work Saturdays.

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  2. One to two years related experience and/or training. Two to four years related experience and/or training preferred.

Mortgage Loan Specialist-Processor

First State Bank Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Specialist (Processor) for our Scottsdale location. The position is responsible for the accurate and complete processing of mortgage loan files. This includes but is not limited to; properly disclosing on the file, ordering appraisals and title work, stacking files in order, and updating the mortgage loan origination system. Loan types include conventional, government.
This position requires 40 hours per week. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One to two years related experience and/or training required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

I. Basic knowledge of loan processing procedures and loan documentation for real estate.

2. Basic knowledge of underwriting guidelines for conventional and government loans.

3. Must have previous experience with automated underwriting systems (DU/LP/GUS).

4. Must be able to work independently and make decisions as needed with the established authority of the position.

5. Must be able to work at a reasonably fast pace and meet production goals on a consistent basis.

6. Must be able to handle multiple projects while meeting various schedules and deadlines.

7. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with customers, service providers, officers and others involved in the lending process.
