My Story

As Assistant Branch Manager at First State Bank’s Fifth Street location in St. Charles, I enjoy helping customers with their day-to-day banking needs and making sure they have a positive experience every time they visit us. I assist customers with teller transactions, answer questions about their accounts, and help individuals and businesses open new accounts. I also support the training and development of our Fifth Street teller team.

I joined First State Bank in 2025 and was honored to be named Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2026.

Helping Customers Find the Right Resources

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping customers achieve their financial goals. Sometimes that means assisting them directly, and other times it means connecting them with the right person or department to meet their needs. By taking the time to understand each customer’s banking habits and goals, I can help ensure they’re receiving the products, services, and guidance that best fit their situation.

Building relationships starts with treating people well. That’s why the service principle, “Show dignity and bring exceptional courtesy, respect, and service to every interaction,” stands out to me. I believe that every interaction—whether with a customer or coworker—is an opportunity to create a positive experience. A little courtesy, respect, and genuine connection can go a long way in helping people feel welcome and appreciated.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing golf, and visiting wineries with my wife. I enjoy staying active, making memories with the people closest to me, and taking advantage of opportunities to connect with others.

All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.
